Denise Djokic : 5e festival (2001)

Denise Djokic is nominated for a 2006 Juno Award for her “FOLKLORE” CD (Endeavor Classics), with pianist David Jalbert.

Natalie Choquette - 5th Festival (2001)

In November, Natalie Choquette and two other artists – The group, Aeterna, - began a series of concerts through Quebec, which will continue until December, 2007.


Richard Raymond : 4th festival (2000)

richard.jpgRaymond’s performances with the Montreal Symphony, the Toronto Symphony, and essentially every major orchestra in Canada have been met with great excitement. Recitals, festival appearances and chamber music engagements have taken him across Canada, to Italy, France and the United States. Debuts at the Lincoln Center in New York, at the Ruhr Klavier-Festival in Germany, In Paris, France, and with the Shangai Symphony Orchestra were all memorable events. Richard has very recently made his orchestral debut in Mexico City with the Mexico City Philharmonic.


Wanderer Trio - 4th Festival (2000)

For the 2006-2007 season, the Wanderer Trio will be performing as follows : Budapest Spring, Edinburgh Festival, Feld, Roque d’Antheron all of the Mozart trios, Tokyo International Forum, Wigmore Hall in London, Munich’s Herkulessaal, and Théâtre du Chatelet in Paris.
For the third time, they will give a Mozart recital in Salsbury. They’ve been invited to Berlin’s Konzerhaus for two evenings consecrated to Chostakovitch’s chamber music with piano.


Renée Lapointe - 4th Festival (2000)

In recent times, the mezzosoprano, Renée Lapointe, toured the Netherlands, singing the principal role of Rosa in the multimedia music drama “Leitmotiv” with the Théâtre des Deux Mondes. She was also a Soloist in the opening concert at  the Festival international de Wallonie in Brussels.  As Soloist in Berlioz “Les Nuits d’été”, she performed at the Festival de Loches en Touraine (France) as well as at the Festival international de Lanaudière, accompanied by (l’Orchestre Symphonique de Québec where she was praised for her new intense, poetic delivery.
More recently, Renée Lapointe sang in the lyric version of the rock opera Starmania by Berger-Plamondon, with the Montreal Symphony Orchestra (l’Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal) The Quebec Symphony Orchestra (l’Orchestre Symphonique de Québec)), and in a series of presentations in Paris.
Also, she toured with guitarist, Rémi Boucher, in a recital entitled  “Nuits à Séville”.


Mathias Maute, Duo Caprice - 3rd Festival (1999)

Mathias Maute continues to perform as a flutist and he is also involved in many other aspects of his art. Presently, he is working on a large opera project to be performed in Amsterdam in 2008. Commissioned by the baroque orchestra, Musica ad Rhenum, this will be the first contemporary opera for a baroque orchestra. Mathias Maute 2-volume work on improvisation has been published by Breitkopf and Härtel (Germany). And in 2005, he taught a course in improvisation at McGill University.
